FLOOR JANSEN's REVAMP To Support KAMELOT In Europe

REVAMP, the band led by former AFTER FOREVER and current NIGHTWISH touring vocalist Floor Jansen, will support KAMELOT on their "Silverthorn Over Europe 2013" tour.

Comments KAMELOT's founder and guitarist Thomas Youngblood: "I first met REVAMP singer Floor Jansen while we were touring the states in late 2012 (with NIGHTWISH). We kept in touch and discussed the idea of REVAMP touring Europe with us.

Jansen adds: "REVAMP is very exited to tour with KAMELOT in Europe. The combination of the music both bands bring will be fantastic and will surely enchant! We can't wait for November!!!

REVAMP's sophomore album, "Wild Card", will be released in Europe on August 23 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at SandLane Studio in Rijen, The Netherlands with Joost van den Broek (ex-AFTER FOREVER) and will feature guest choir parts by Marcela Bovio (STREAM OF PASSION) and Daniël de Jongh (TEXTURES). The effort features additional guest appearances by Mark Jansen (EPICA),Johan van Stratum (STREAM OF PASSION) and Devin Townsend.

REVAMP's self-titled debut album was released in Europe on May 28, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Jansen made her live debut as the frontwoman of NIGHTWISH on October 1, 2012 at Showbox Sodo in Seattle, Washington.

Jansen handled lead-vocal duties on NIGHTWISH's recent North American, South American, Australian and U.K. tours after the group parted ways with Anette Olzon at the end of September 2012.
